This is not a tour but a spiritual journey. The love, the kindness and the professionalism from the beginning until the end of the journey exceeds far than what is expected. Eliza that puts so much love into her journeys making it an unforgettable experience. How can a person return unchanged from the spiritual food received. One thing Eliza has taught, that after a journey in Israel, your journey only then begins. There remains a yearning to return to Israel and to do a journey with Shalom Jerusalem Tours - Eliza again without a doubt. Where you become part of a mishpacha (a family). In February 2018, I decided that I wanted to visit Israel again – the first visit was in 1999.
I found Shalom Jerusalem Tours on a GOOGLE search. Initially, I spoke to Eliza, who advised that she had a tour group leaving for Israel in two weeks’ time, and as they were flying via Egypt, I needed an Egyptian VISA. All in all, with these tight time constraints, Jerusalem Shalom Tours were able to get me all on board for travel within this two-week period -during which I was met with such patience, kindness and love so much so that when the day arrived to travel, Eliza and her kind team were no strangers. This was the first time I took a trip on my own without my husband and sons so there was an element of apprehension which vanished as soon as I met with the tour group and Eliza - whose constant checking in with me was so reassuring.
Shalom Jerusalem Tours thinks of every fine detail, and what stood out for me was the luggage tracker, amongst others. There were no glitches – everything went off so smoothly from the time we left for Israel to the time we got back to South Africa.
As this was my second tour to Israel, the duration was the same, but the experience was totally different. I saw and experienced much more. I came away from this trip where my faith and trust in Yeshua HaMashiach has grown exponentially. Eliza, as the tour leader, through prayer and, as led by the Holy Spirit, customised the tour as per the need of the people on tour. Everywhere we went, she would either pray with us, preach to us, or sing (I love you, Lord) making each place take on a whole new meaning. She encouraged us to pray for our loved ones and gave us time for this. Especially memorable was our time at Wadi Qelt whereafter when I spoke to my son, he said he just felt such warmth and such happiness and asked if I had been praying for him -he definitely was one of the people on my prayer list!
Eliza studied and lived in Israel for a while and speaks the local language fluently. I believe because of this and her relationship with the people of both Israel and Palestine, we were very fortunate to see and do more than the typical tour group – I can say this very confidently considering that this was my second trip to Israel - 18 years later. Tours with Eliza started early and finished off late not the typical 5pm as Eliza gauged from the group that we were very eager to see as much as we possibly could and nobody complained if there was no time for lunch.
I view Eliza as an anointed woman of YHVH and a true child of Yeshua HaMashiach. I felt very comfortable with her, especially her commitment to showing and teaching us as much as she possibly could in the time she had with us. I experienced lots of laughter, joy, and pure fun during this trip. One major take from this trip: I now observe the Sabbath from Friday evening to Saturday evening – and my family has followed my example. We find such a blessing to take the time and rest on a Saturday. She has taught me to put my faith and trust totally in the Hands of Yeshua HaMashiach.
I will definitely be making another trip to Israel with Shalom Jerusalem Tours with the family - I want them to also experience what I experienced.
I joined this group to Israel from 12 to 18 March 2023. I have undertaken several international journeys in the past but this journey to Israel was the most outstanding for me. The journey was well organised. Everything was done professionally. Pastor Eliza, the tour organiser and guide, has demonstrated excellent leadership skills. I enjoyed the accommodation, the food, the religious sites we visited and, above all, the deepening of my faith in God Almighty. This was not my last journey with this group, if God can spare me for the next few years to come. HALLELUJAH.
Like a shepherd leading the sheep to the best greenery field, so she was to me, during this trip, when I went to Israel for the first time. My spirit was so disturbed, I was so down and discouraged, this was after I experienced an estranged devorce, which even today I cannot explain to anyone about its strangeness. It was in the midst of that confusion that I experienced the most soothing atmosphere. I experienced love, kindness, peace and so much care from the entire team. We were 2 from Swaziland 1 gentleman from Zimbabwe and the rest were from South Africa.
Oh! what an amazing opportunity I had, my one and only wish for years was fulfilled. I have no doubt that Pastor Elizabeth felt a burden to have extra care for this particular stranged woman in me who was so depressed.
In my entire life, I had not experienced so much love from a tour group. There was harmony and care. I remember losing my special wrist watch at the dead Sea after we swam, we were all back in the bus, about to leave, I don't know how Pastor Elizabeth went back to where I had dropped it and she came back with it, my joy was restored. Honestly, I felt somehow embarrassed with such an amazing gesture and patience....!. Day after day, it was a wonder after another. We went to the City of David, oh what an exciting day! a big Wow! to see King David's statue with his harp, oh what a joy!
Again, another breathtaking experience! we witnessed the special garden, Golgotha and the tomb of the Lord, where the Dunamis Power raised my Lord Jesus Christ.! What a wonderful Wow! I get speechless to this one.
I feel an incredible honour and an amazing opportunity we had when we witnessed Abraham's vicinity, we rode on Caramels, what an experience!
I don't know whether to say it was an obsolete wonder when we witnessed Sodom and Gomorrah. We went to Getsemane, Jerusalem, the wailing wall, where I carried the flag of my country, where I felt I should stand in the gap and wail for my country. I think I can write a book on this. Oh how sweet I felt to see Thabithas house, the special woman who had amazing deeds that brought her back to life. Oh Mount Tabot, Prophet Elijah's miraculous place, with his statue.
Oh, sailing where my Lord sailed in the sea of Galilee within amazing music groups, and we had exotic fish drawn from the Sea of Galilee. We had a wonderful time of prayer and teachings from Pastor Eliza. There's so much more. The entire trip was a wonder. Thanks to Prophet Ngubane, my Khwenyane who made it all possible for me to see the Bible alive. God bless him!!!, I can go to The Holy Land, over and over again without missing any trip Thank you to the wonderful drivers who tirelessly drove us around without any complaint. Let alone the entire team who prepared for us the comfy lodging, the meals and the sights to see. This cannot be an ending and I cannot tell it all !

The shalom Jerusalem tours were spiritual eye n mind opening events. I went to Israel x2 with pastor Elisheva.
The first one was very good n I enjoyed the tour but with a bit of disorientation of being in a new place with a group of people that some I met for the first time.
We really walked the Bible marveling.
The second one was this year in March and we're only 5.this was a joyous moment of a week I never wanted to end. I saw n comprehend all the visited places with a new perception. The singing. The jokes n laughing and teachings were 👌. Lastly I also got baptized and I cherish the certificate I got that I put it in a place I see it daily in my house.
This tour was healing both body and soul.
We were even given among other things; the scriptures(Bible) I find it easy to read n understand.

I have been on a journey with Shalom Jerusalem Tours. I have traveled 4 times before to Israel. With Shalom Jerusalem Tours, I have received a complete renewed vision and clarity of all misunderstood before. The Scriptures suddenly became a light to my path and my feet were no longer walking in the unknown. I often wondered why it took me 5 times and I realized that all the others were sight seeing and Tours. With Elisheva I immediately realized that something greater than I could ever imagine started to complete all the empty space and questions I had. You go on this Journey and return never to be the same spiritually. Even after you return there is still so many lessons available. I travelled with Shalom Jerusalem Tours and first time traveling ever in my life. Shalom Jerusalem Tours took every worry and concern I had. Everything was absolutely amazing arranged that all i needed to to was pack my suitcase and make my payments. Deborah, Rika and Angela met us at the Airport with Pastor Elisheva. Everything was proffesional but done with love and respect. Then came the Journey that revealed to me that I indeed did not know really who God is. What Yeshua really meant. A valley in the Bible is really a Valley and every mountain stood prominently before you. Then the special moments came at so many places we pray. Other groups came in and out and those people never received the food that we received. I felt my heart ache for them because they were like sheep with no real Shepherd that loved them. Thank you Pastor Elisheva and all the staff for making my journey something that is precious to my heart but also the feeding to my soul. With much love.
I am so in awe to give my feedback and review of my experience with Shalom Jerusalem Tours. I think everyone in the office been great. Deborah calmed my anxiety and made me feel that I had no worries. She followed up on our needs and directed us very well with a good smile and lovely personality. I met Rika and another lady at the Airport from their office and with all their assistance I was no longer without a head because they became my partners. I enjoyed every minute of the Journey and we had very good laughter, fun and humor. Then came those moments of total surrender. A time I realised that I did not come for fun but a serious appointment. I for the first time in my adult life found the truth and decided to walk this path for the rest of my life. I can never turn back. Thank you Pastor Eliza for your knowledge. But most of all I thank Yahveh for changing me to who I am supposed to be.
I have travelled twice to Israel with Shaĺom Jerusalem Tours. To me this was a spiritual awakening. I learnt a lot.It made me to understand the Bible in a better way. Since I visited Israel whenever I read the Bible especially the New Testament everything comes live in my mind when I think of all the areas where Jesus our savior walked. To think that I have walked were Jesus walked is mind blowing.During my first visit I was just overwhelmed with everything. Pastor Eliza gave a testimonial about her health which was very touching and healing to me as an individual as I was involved in an accident some few years back. At that time I thought I was going to have problems with my leg as there is a lot of walking. But guess what...I never complained of a painful leg during that journey. Even during my second visit I never had any problem.Pastor Eliza is a caring person full of love .Her knowledge of the word of God makes it easy for us to understand. The explanations that she gives at every site we visit is superior. During my second visit in March 2023 this was another visit I will never forget for the rest of my life. We were showered with all love.The journey was Shalom Jerusalem at its best. We were even given the Scriptures , that was wonderful I will always cherish it. If it will be possible for me to go back to Israel definitely it will be through Shaĺom Jerusalem Tours . We love California Adventure, but it would have been nice if they had longer hours when we were there. Loved all of the Christmas food, Santa visit and the rides as always.
Catalina Island was a perfect day trip. Zip lining with two fun guides was definitely the highlight! Eating at a seaside restaurant was so relaxing afterward.
